It belongs to a group of medicines called triptans.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAurasin acute is used after the initial diagnosis of migraine by a doctor for the acute treatment of the headache phases of migraine attacks with or without aura.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eMigraine symptoms can be caused by a temporary dilation of the blood vessels in the head. Zolmitriptan is thought to reduce this dilation. This helps the headache and other symptoms of a migraine attack, such as nausea or vomiting and sensitivity to light and sound, go away.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eZolmitriptan only works if a migraine attack has already begun. Talk to your doctor if you think this is happening to you. Keep this in mind when driving a vehicle or operating any equipment or machinery.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAurasin akut is unlikely to affect your ability to drive or operate equipment or machines. However, you should wait and see how you react to taking Aurasin akut before attempting any of these activities.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003eApplication\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAlways take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eTake Aurasin acute only to treat an actual migraine attack and not to prevent migraine attacks or headaches. You can take Aurasin acutely as soon as the migraine attack begins. Aurasin acute is still effective during the attack.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe usual dose is 1 tablet.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cspan\u003eTake the tablet with a glass of water.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIf migraine symptoms return within 24 hours of the first response to the medicine, you can take another tablet. If you use 2.5 mg tablets, the maximum daily dose is 5 mg.
