Cellona is an easily removable  base dressing . It has high breathability . It is used for lining under fixation bandages and compresses . Permanently fluffed elastic base cotton serves to protect exposed parts of bones and nerves under rigid plaster and synthetic bandages. Cellona cotton is breathable and balances temperature differences. The fibers do not absorb moisture , the rigid bandage hardens faster, and the elasticity and softness of the lining remains after prolonged wear. The material is also suitable for narrow places on the body , as it  can be torn off with a gentle pull in the longitudinal direction .
Cellona cotton  is sterilizable.
