spray.\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eChildren and elderly or seriously ill patients who are unable to gargle can be treated with the spray solution.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDequonal contains dequalinium chloride and benzalkonium chloride as active ingredients.\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eBenzalkonium chloride is not only effective against bacteria and fungi, but also inactivates the so-called \"enveloped\" viruses (eg herpes virus) found in the mouth and throat.\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eDue to its long-lasting effect, dequalinium chloride increases the effect against bacteria and especially against fungi.\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eBy combining the two active ingredients, mixed infections in the mouth and throat area can be
